Miso Soup
3″ pieces Eden Wakame leaf or 1 tsp. Eden Wakame Flakes
4 cups water
1 small onion, thinly sliced
1 carrot, diced
1 1/2 to 2 Tbsp Eden Shiro Miso, dissolved in 2 Tbsp water or soup broth
2 green onion, finely sliced

Optional ingredients – Tofu, dried tofu, shiitake, greens, daikon, louts root, turnip, leeks, noodles, etc.

Rinse wakame, soak in cold water to cover for 5 minutes and dice, or add flakes directly no soaking required Bring water to a boil. Add onions and wakame. Simmer 3 minutes. Add carrots and simmer 5 minutes. Reduce flame to very low. Add miso and simmer 2 minutes. Do not boil. Garnish with green onion. Serves 4.

Refrigerate after opening.
