Stove Top Cooking Instructions
Servings (about 3/4 cup cooked rice)24-58-9
Rice (dry)1/2 cup1 cup2 cups
Water or Broth*3/4 cup1 1/2 cup3 cups
Butter or Oil (Optional)1 1/2 tsp.1 Tbsp2 Tbsp
*If rice is crunchy at the end of cooking time, it may be necessary to add 1-2 Tbsp liquid and cook longer.
Combine rice, liquid, and butter or oil in a pot, and bring to a boil.
Cover with a tight-fitting lid. Reduce heat to maintain a low simmer, and cook 15 minutes.
Remove from heat (keep covered) and steam for 10 minutes. Fluff with fork and serve.
*If rice is too firm at the end of cooking, it may be necessary to add 1-2 Tbsp. liquid and cook longer.
Rice cooker instructions: To prepare in a rice cooker, use the same liquid to rice ratio.
We recommend refrigeration for extended shelf life.
