Fracas for Men was released by Robert Piguet in 1990 as an update on the original, which was originally launched in 1947. This is a companion fragrance to the Fracas for women that celebrates the tuberose. The men version, however, is a completely different scent. The base notes of green apple and lime burst onto your senses at the outset with a nice touch of Neroli and bergamot for a floral spice note. The heart notes are teakwood, patchouli and rose and these linger for several hours, blending nicely into the base notes of musk, labdanum and vanilla for a masculine finish. This is a brawny, traditional men fragrance that brings to mind leather, dark woods and musk.
