You Will Need
1 cup hot water
2 Tbsp oil
1 large onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
14-16 oz canned tomato sauce
1 can pinto beans, undrained
Combine contents of pouch with water. Let sit for 5 min.
Heat oil in a stock pot. Saute onion & pepper until softened.
Stir in meatless mix and cook for 3-5 min. or until brown.
Stir in tomato sauce and beans. Simmer for 10 min. Serve hot.

Chili Tips

Swap any bean for pinto. We also like kidney and black beans. Chili can simmer for up to 1 hour, a richer flavor will develop. Chili can be thinned by adding 1/2 cup of water at a time.

Kick it up! Garnish with shredded cheese, jalapenos, sour cream, green onion, or avocado.

Store rehydrated meatless mix in refrigerator up to 5-6 days.
